Communications Coordinator – Essex Shed Network

20 hours per week.
£24,070 p.a. pro rata.
Fixed term until March 2019.
(with potential to extend dependent on funding).

We are looking for someone to join our team and take a lead on developing communications and networking as well as supporting Men in Shed projects across Essex with information and advice.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing websites, social media and communicating across a range of media including press releases, poster development and newsletters as well as experience of managing events.

Wellbeing Coordinator – Maldon District Wellbeing project

12 hours per week
£21,000 p.a. pro rata
Initially 1 year fixed term

The Wellbeing Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of the Maldon District Wellbeing project as part of Maldon and Districts CVS’s commitment to improving the lives of local people, with a particular focus on health. This will include working in partnership with local voluntary sector groups and statutory partners to develop and facilitate projects such as walks for wellbeing, community weigh ins and neighbourliness schemes. The role will also include recruiting, managing and supporting volunteers to help deliver project activities.

The ideal candidate will have good I.T skills and be familiar with Microsoft office software and managing databases. In addition we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support and encourage others.
