Maldon and District CVS will be holding an event on Thursday 7 February as part of a nation-wide push to get people talking more openly about mental health for one day.
Time to Talk Day is organised by Time to Change, the campaign to change how we all think and act about mental health problems.
Since its launch in 2014, Time to Talk Day has sparked millions of conversations in schools, homes, workplaces, in the media and online, and attracted support from celebrities such as Freddie Flintoff, Stephen Fry and Frankie Bridge.
Maldon and District CVS is inviting local people to join thousands of other groups, organisations, schools and members of the public, who will all be having conversations about mental health on Time to Talk Day.
Members of the public are invited to drop in to the Maldon Town Hall between 1pm-3pm on the 7th February for coffee, cake and conversation. There will also be an opportunity to complete a pledge for the Maldon District Pledge wall that will capture individual commitments to making a difference.
Pledge walls will also be on display at both Maldon District Council and Maldon Town Council offices from 4th-11th February for individuals to make their pledges!
