The Warm Maldon Campaign aims to provide help to local people living in the Maldon District who are at risk from the cold this winter. This could be due to age, health, income level or housing status
The campaign is backed by a number of local organisations including Maldon and District CVS, Maldon District Council, Essex County Fire and Rescue, Moat homes limited, the Citizens Advice Bureau and Community Agents will run until February 2018 and support hundreds of local people.
Sarah Laskar, Director of Maldon and District CVS says “this is the fifth year of running this warmth campaign and we want to make a real difference. There are lots of ways people can get involved including knitting and donating or helping spread the word”
The campaign will raise awareness of issues and provide guidance for keeping warm, safe and well during cold spells.
