Governance structures are of fundamental importance to voluntary sector organisations. By getting it right, organisations set the foundations of an effective, safe and efficient operation. Getting it wrong can result in confusion, inefficiency and even legal challenge.

Maldon & District Community Voluntary Service offers information, resources and one-to-one assistance to help get the governance aspect of your organisation right.
Our services include:

Policies and Procedures – access to a health-check pack, which will help you to self-assess key policies and procedures to ensure that they meet requirements. We also offer one-to-one support in developing and refreshing policies.

Business Planning – Need guidance or a second opinion on your Business Plan? Individual support sessions are available.

Constitution – Setting up or developing your organisation? We offer advice on which type of constitution is most appropriate, and link through the Charity Commission to template documents, which we can help to tailor to your organisation.
