 Supporting the Voluntary Sector in the Maldon District Maldon
& District CVS is a registered charity working to support the
voluntary & community sector in the Maldon District. The core
work of the charity is to provide support to organisations &
community groups by providing information & guidance on various
aspects of their operation, including support with fundraising, policy
development, volunteer management, local representation &
networking.
Additionally MDCVS also runs projects for the benefit of the local community including the Volunteer Centre, Supported Volunteering project, Harbour mental health project and the More2Life project supporting people with learning disabilities and complex support needs. Local charities and community groups based in the district or providing support to local residents are welcome to register as members and access the range of support services we provide. Membership is free to all voluntary and community groups. M&DCVS provides information, support and advice and acts as a voice for the local voluntary and community sector.
